THE FUTURE OF SPORTS IN NIGERIA.......how safe is the future of sporting activities and funding by the federal government to our future generations...As football and basketball is the only two top sports in Nigeria, however some athletes and talented young footballers have found their way into the sporting activities of other countries....which is causing a great brain drain in our country...with the likes of Tamy Abraham, Dele Alli, Origi with Nigerian nationality but plays for the England national team ....Also Nigeria basketball team. D'TIGGERS was sent back home in the world championship game by a Nigerian nationality who plays for USA,...is this how we would keep watching until our sports activities becomes a past history....hmmmm . please I will implore our federal government and the ministry of health to look into this issues before it becomes worser .....I aslo want to say a very big thanks to our current minister of sport, Mr Sunday Dare for his achievement so far concerning the sporting activities in Nigeria.
A Lagos Bus Rapid Transit driver, Andrew Nice alleged to be involved in the abduction of a 21 years old tailor Oluwabamise Ayanwola has been arrested.....The police also said the remains of the victim had been recovered.....PUNCH Metro has reported that Oluwabamise who closed from work around 7pm on Friday on February 26,was on her way to visit her brother Pelumi when she boarded the BRT vehicle around Chevron Bus stop in the Lekki area of the state.....The busman Omininikoron was said to be conveying the victim to a destination in oshodi when Oluwabamise observed that he refused to pick other passengers on the road....she reportedly contacted one of her colleague at work Felicia Omolara, to inform her about her suspicion and she was advised to disembark from the bus ...... Omolara however noted that when her friend no longer responded to her chats on Whatsapp, she called her phone number adding that when she picked the call, a man was heard arguing with Oluwabamise..... Oluwabamise Former boss, Caroline Oni confirmed to our correspondent that her corpse was recovered in the Ebute Ero area of the state.
